Newbie Here

I'm officially moving from blog-consumer to blog-producer. I'm sure all three people who read this will be thrilled.(All thanks to my lovely sis in law, Becky, who pressured me, ahem, encouraged me to start my own little Blog Sweet Blog)

I'll start with a peek at Noah's birthday party a few weeks ago...

Those are cardboard diaper boxes painted as Lightening McQueen, Chick Hicks, and The King from the movie Cars.

(If you had told me 3 years ago that I would be able to name at least 20 characters from that movie...)

Trying to keep still while Aunt Kathryn painted Lightening MQ on his cheek...the face painting was a huge hit!
The cake was a racetrack...not the number 8 like everyone at the party asked me...he was so excited to get those cars off the top!

This face just kills me
!! He had been hoping for this toy for a long time.....he was so thrilled to be holding the beloved MACK TRUCK!!!

Violet and Grandma Allison, watching the action.

I'd say the party was a success! What did party-planning Moms do before Google???

  2. Oh my gosh! I am speechless...I am without speech! What a wonderful first post! Now all you have to do is start another blog to sell all of your crafty arts! It was so fun to see Scott and Noah this past week. Can I just say I LOVED the silhouettes you made! You never cease to amaze me. Arts and crafts will have to be extended by 12 hours when you come down in a couple of weeks. Can't wait to see you Em!
